Baylis and Harding – Royale Bouquet

So as a wonderful pick me up a friend gifted me this.

Baylis & Harding – Royale Bouquet – Limited Edition

I have to say the box and packaging of this is wonderful, vintage without looking too aged and tacky, with a higher end look compared to the price of its products.

In the pack there are three items:

Black Raspberry and Fig Bodywash
Peach Poppy and Vanilla Soap
Verbena and Chamomile hand and body lotion

I am pleased to see all products are shown as paraben free, and was pleasantly surprised to see that all three products have different fragrances.

The soap smells gorgeously light and creamy though the actual product was unexpectedly plain compared to the box it came in. The body wash has a deeper more fruity fragrance, and again smells of luxury pampering. its 100ml size is ideal for taking away on a weekend away for something a little different. Finally the body lotion. I was surprised to see the size of the tube it came in, personally I would have preferred the body wash to have been the larger of the products. Sadly this product is the let down of the trio for me. Watery in texture and bland in scent, it smells of a hotel dispenser body lotion, with certainly no hint of verbena or chamomile.

Overall a wonderfully presented gift set with two good products, but the larger of the three lacking sadly making this product lacking in substance over its looks.
