Pink Opal – Light pink/beige
Patina – silver/gold
Kitchsmas – dark black/gold
If you can find this product buy it! it was discontinued by MAC sadly, leaving lots of disappointed fans in its wake. It is a wonderful light cream colour with the slightest flattering hint of pink. It can be used as a gorgeous highlight and to add a little sparkle to eyes. It’s also ideal for blending to help blend other colours.
This is no doubt a MAC cult classic. No one who knows MAC hasn’t heard to Patina. MAC describe it as Taupe brown with golden pearl and a frost finish. It has a wonderful golden sheen which really blends with those stunning Autumnal looks that we are all looking towards. It is a mid colour not too deep and not to light. Sweep over a full lid for a dramatic evening look and blend out with a lighter colour for a chic daytime look.
For me a lighter version of Patina, a wonderful gold shimmer which really sparkles and catches the light. Oddly it has a slightly lavender sheen to the flecks but goes on a lot lighter that the pot looks, it can be layered for a darker more dramatic look or lighter for simple understated daytime office or lunch date look. For me this is a go to MAC shade.
