MAC Eyeshadow part III

So up for review today are the green palette in my MAC collection.

Rated R – Bright Green
Teal – Blue Green
Olive Green – Dark Green

Rated R:

This is now unavailable though the MAC website but you can still get it off Amazon, I describe it as a pearlescent Kermit green in colour, bold it definitely is. Oddly this colour suits all skin tones, blend with water and a thin eyeliner brush for those with pale skin (this looks amazing on redheads) layer up and blend with a dark colour for those with olive skin, and go full on for those with darker skin. For me this is very much a spring or summer colour and gets forgotten about in the winter.

Teal:

This is part of MAC’s frost collection. They describe this as “Medium blue/green with a Pearl frost finish”. If I am honest this is one of my forgotten colours. I have teal eyes so it looks a little odd as an eyeshadow. Again for those wonderful redheads out there this would look lovely as a liner. Sorry MAC however this colour does nothing for me.

Olive Green:

Ah the sophisticated colour of autumn, just begging for a smokey eye. Again sadly another discontinued colour which has been replaced with sumptuous olive, wonderful for those sporty auburn Autumn hairdos and for earing with tweed and a checked scarf. The colour is a pearlescent yellow green, really a true olive colour. For those who stick the the boring browns for that smokey eye, add an olive to your palette for a great twist to a classic look.

This for me is a must have shade.
