I’m trying to make the most of this summer, and this being the first year of having an actual garden it nice to put my own taste and stamp on the place. As we know though moving isn’t cheap and money can sometimes be a little tight.
So based on yet another Pinterest idea I was looking to throw away some old wellies (I’m a country boot girl now dahling! and if you don’t belive me read my Shires Charlbury review) but they were just too cute to throw out with the rubbish. So whilst looking to perk up the garden a little with some plants that will come back year after year meet my new boot plant pots.
I planted in a lavender plant (Ideal for home made lavender jelly and scones) and a hosta (nothing wrong with just some colour) and easy as that to the grand total of £4. Cute and quirky and cost effective too!
