Healthy and home made – Sweet Potato Crisps

I bought a spiralizer a while ago on a whim after reading far many health food books but haven’t used it for a few months. So on a lazy Sunday afternoon after spending a morning at the allotment I decided to use up some sweet potatoes that had been lying around.

You will need:

Spray oil

Herbs (I used smoked paprika chive and onion)

3-4 sweet potatoes

sea salt

Cut the sweet potatoes into spirals with the spiralizer and then chop into small crisp sized pieces.

Place in a bowl and spray lightly with oil add the herbs and toss along with a good sprinkling of sea salt

Bake in the over for around 10-15 minutes at 200c toss lightly and then back for another 5-10 minutes until crispy.

A simple snack to whip up for friends when they come over for an impromptu movie night, or for a late night indulgent and healthy snack.
