Okay so I know everyone isn’t a budding fashionista, hell even I’m not!
I don’t wearing what is in fashion I wear what suits me and makes me look and feel good, however what we have access too in the shops is dictated by fashion and trends and we can always take own inspiration from whats on the catwalk and put our own twist on it.
Here are my picks from London Fashion Week
1: David Koma
Monochrome meets tailored bandage dress with a hint of S&M – Classy and sexy at the same time. This is sexy power dressing to the extreme!
2: Peter Pilotto
Stunning brights in an otherwise heavily pastel show. I love the curved pleating and the grown up twist on the Alice in Wonderland style dresses. Very feminine and dramatic at the same time
3: Julien Macdonald
Few people will be able to pull this look off, just the right shade of nude? Think Amanda Seyfried and Nicole Kidman. Heavy embellishment and just enough sheer material to make you want to look twice. These are elegance to the extreme.
4: Maria Grachvogel
Made for Kirsten Stewart and Mila Kunis, Modern edgy and still very very sexy. I love the shades and patterns used in her shows and the amazing hair and make up combination makes it just that little more soft rather than too hard a look
My favourites by far! Pastel Chic and dramatic yet classic tailoring. You can see the Kate Middletonesque inspiration, but without the twee that goes with it. This is a look that we can all put our own twist on. Pastel and Pencil dresses and skirts teamed with killer heels, go on strut your stuff while remaining proud of who you are… A woman!
