I cannot rave about this Perfume enough, seriously this amazing perfume by Valentino is girlie, elegant perfection
The fashion house of Valentino launched its new fragrance named Valentina in mid-September 2011.The composition is designed as a fresh floral – fruity – oriental, full of contradictions, simultaneously delicate and strong, elegant, sensual, rebellious and fun.
It starts off with bergamot from Calabria and white truffles from Alba. Amalfi orange blossoms, sweet jasmine, tuberose and wild strawberries compose the perfumes heart, settling on the base of cedar, vanilla and amber.
With attitude, sophistication and unexpected characteristics, the bouquet of Valentina blends an irreverent Italian floral oriental in which each facet reveals a paradox. Calabrian bergamot is a hymn to exuberance and freshness, shaken up by the insolence of white Alba truffles. In their trail, jasmine, Amalfi orange blossom and tuberose celebrate radiant beauty, while being offset by the rebellious delight of wild strawberries. Finally, the nobility of cedar is seduced by the captivating sensuality of amber.
I picked up this little beauty duty-free last year whilst on the way to Holland and what a gorgeous creation it is. Fun, cute, girlie bottle that would look nice on any dressing table with the flowers adding a cute elegant touch and feel.
As for the scent it is a delicate balance of woody maturity and girlie sweet top notes without it coming across too sickly. It has really good staying power and a few sprays is enough to last all day. I found the fragrance didn’t react or change too much on my skin and wasn’t too overpowering for daytime wear.
I would recommend this as a cute date perfume and I definitely get comments every time I wear it. For those who like a stronger deeper more dramatic fragrance this definitely isn’t for you. it has a very youthful and playful scent to it which lingers all day.
My new signature scent and huge favourite of mine and well worth the price.
